Jestřáb Apartment Building, Janské Lázně

Janské Lázně

Project team

Location: Janské Lázně
Client: Apartmány Jestřáb s.r.o.
Project phase: Detailed construction design
Year: 2017
Status: Completed

The Jestřáb apartment building in Janské Lázně responds to its sloping site with two wings set at different levels, connected by a central staircase and lift. The staggered volumes reduce the building's scale and bring daylight into the circulation core.

Three above-ground storeys contain apartments with terraces and two duplex apartments at the top. The basement houses parking, storage rooms and building services. A stone base is complemented by render and timber, while titanium-zinc cladding unifies the differently shaped roofs.
