Renault Tukas ČSAO, Prague

Project team

Location: Prague
Client: Renault
Project phase: Detailed construction design
Year: 2017
Status: Completed

The extension of the Renault and Dacia showroom on Černokostelecká street in Prague combines the sales area with a prominent glazed façade. Six-metre-high glazing is topped by an expanded-metal band carrying the brand names; positioning the façade in front of the load-bearing structure gives the building a unified appearance.

Alterations to the original building enlarge the sales floor and open it up with larger glazed areas. The central section forms a shared open space, while offices remain upstairs. The completed project is based on an architectural concept by meetplace, developed through subsequent design stages by HPDK.
