The concept for Sion Sports Kindergarten in Hradec Králové brings together early childhood education, physical activity and time outdoors. The kindergarten adjoins the padel centre, tennis complex and equestrian centre. This setting creates opportunities for a varied programme of physical activities and an introduction to different sports. The design develops the idea of a kindergarten as a place for play, discovery and an active way of life.

The compact three-storey building combines brick cladding and white surfaces with colourful perforated panels beside the windows. These playful accents distinguish different parts of the façades. Prominent glazing identifies the entrance, while sheltered outdoor spaces and an upper-floor terrace connect the building with its surroundings. An enclosed garden extends the kindergarten with space for outdoor play and physical activity.
